EDMONTON, Canada - A woman in Edmonton, Canada, was giving away $100 bills to complete strangers Tuesday, according to the Edmonton Journal .
The woman reportedly went into three separate Tim Hortons coffee shops and randomly gave the money away.
Shewalked up to customers in the coffee shops and acted like she was goingto shake their hands, but instead she gave them a $100 bill and said,"I just want to wish you a happy spring."
Witnesses said thewoman looked about 50, had long, black hair, wore dark sunglasses and abright pink shirt or blazer. She was seen getting out of a blacklimousine at one of the stops.
Mysterious donations have been made to some universities recently as well. Binghamton University in New York received a $6 million anonymous donation on Tuesday, and another anonymous donor gave the University of Iowa $7 million last week
